WHEN OUTER CYCLES MEET INNER CYCLES

Cycles of Connection

The outdoor sessions are a blend of forest school style practices and teaching moments on cyclical living. The sessions are held in a private woodland near Falmouth.

TOGETHER, LET'S BE CULTURE MAKERS

An introduction to the day

A year long experiential initiation for girls and non-binary children (8-12yo) to cyclical living: exploration of the outer cycles and the Celtic wheel. This is the perfect grounding and explicit normalisation of cycle living.

We are following the Celtic wheel and moon cycle to notice, experience the different energies and rhythms at play throughout the year and how their manifestations affect us. We introduce the children to gentle celebrations of the thresholds that cross our year.

Our aim is to normalise cyclical living, the marking of thresholds in community and create together gentle celebrations.

This program is about noticing seasonal changes as they enter their puberty journey. Making connections between the outer seasons and the seasons of the menstrual cycle to better support the transition from child to menarche to a teen living with a menstrual cycle.

LET'S GATHER TOGETHER TO RECONNECT, HONOUR AND CELEBRATE OUR GROWING CHILDREN.

We often forget that we are nature. Nature is not something separate from us. So when we say that we have lost our connection with nature, we have lost our connection to ourselves.
